The Screen Savers: Reloaded

For those of you who moaned and wailed at the demise of TechTV in general, and specifically Leo Laporte and friends on the Screen Savers, resurrection from the G4 tomb is here. Leo, along with Patrick Norton, Kevin Rose, and others have begun producing a weekly tech show, downloadable in a number of formats from here. Rejoice!

Hi Matt,
I'm one of those folks who watched TechTV from [almost] the beginning and DID 'Whine and Moan' (NOT being a 'gamer') when Comcast (MY ISP) aquired and RUINED the ONLY 'tech-info' channel on cable.

I just [today] discovered "Open Media Network" (and your post, along with Hahn Choi's and others).
It's great to see SOMETHING happening that's related to TechTV. WHY CFH(Canada) isn't available here in the USA is beyond me, and I've been hoping that SOMETHING would be resurrected (or started anew) in the real 'Tech Info' area.
I've been thinking about contacting the 'DIY'(Do it yourself) channel to see if they had any thoughts regarding the possibility of doing something similar to CFH or TSS.

TechTV was really attracting the attention of some of the top people in the tech industry (and many of them were interviewed by Leo, Patrick, John C. Dvorak, etc..).

I can only hope that sometime in the NEAR future some smart cable executive (there must be SOME!) realizes the HUGE potential that was squandered by Comcast/G4....
